If so, you need to try this Teams Games Tournament strategy for reviewing important concepts.  The game has 48 questions dealing with

  1. multiplying powers
  2. dividing powers
  3. power to the power
  4. combination questions

There are TWO versions included with this resource, one has only positive exponents, and the second version has both positive and negative exponents.

These games are EDITABLE so you can tailor them to your class if needed, but they are read to use  JUST PRINT AND GO …


The students pair up, then compete against another pair of students.  The first group draws a card from a deck of playing cards, let’s say they draw a 4 of diamonds.  They then go into the question booklet and answer the question that is next to the 4 of diamonds in the package.




ALL 4 students answer the question, then the group who drew the card has first chance at the point.  If they get it wrong, the next group can have the chance for the rebound point.




Then the other group draws a card and the process continues.

This game combines Cooperative Learning + Competition = Fun Learning.

60 cards. MIX & MATCH 30 cards have an Exponent Rules question and 30 cards have the corresponding answers. Each student can be given either a Question Card or an Answer Card, and they need to get up from their desks, and find the match for their card! A favorite with students!
